CJI Signs an Agreement with Jiangsu Provincial Commerce Department for Jointly Setting-up a Economic and Trade Represent
On Jan. 29th, Director Ma Minglong, Vice Director Zhao Jin and other concerned officials of Jiangsu Provincial Commerce Dept. paid a visit to CJI and signed an agreement with CJI for jointly setting up a economic & trade representative office in Namibia.
Chairman Peng extended a warm welcome to the guests and expressed his thanks to the Department for its guidance and supports to CJI in the past years. He introduced in detail the current situation, business mode, reformation achievements and development thinking of CJI, and pointed out that the guidance given by the Department leader to CJI at this crucial time would surely accelerate the development of CJI. Director Ma Minglong pointed out that CJI is a state-owned enterprise of Jiangsu with a long history and has made active contributions to the development of foreign trade and economic cooperation of the whole province. It’s quite necessary to get contacted and exchange views with each other under the new situation. He expressed that he felt very much cheered after hearing Chairman Peng’s introduction of CJI’s new focal point for development which adopts a new business mode of “3 plus 2” and uses advantageous resource to build up competition advantage. He believes that CJI’s judgment on the current situation is correct and agrees with CJI’s strategy formulated in line with the provincial strategy of “ Climbing to a New Step, Building a New Jiangsu”, in which CJI finds its right position in the current market and seeks for development around informatization and industrialization. He said in emphasis that only integrate into the general trend can one achieve a greater development. The outstanding achievements gained by CJI at current situation undoubtedly benefit from the practical work style of its leaders and staff. He hoped that CJI would play as always the backbone, model, backup and leading role in foreign trading and economic cooperation fields. Also, he pointed out that CJI has already made a try for Chinese enterprises going abroad in the form of gathering together and won the trust of local government through continuous operation over the past years. So, there lies a good foundation and common meeting point for the two parties to jointly set up an economic & trading representative office in Namibia. He hopes CJI to well use the platform to serve other enterprises of Jiangsu province while accelerate the development of CJI itself. G. Manager Xue expressed that the Provincial Commerce Dept. gave concerns and supports to CJI since long ago, and the current cooperation between the two parties proves its trust in CJI and would bring a wider development space for CJI. CJI will perform well its duty to provide a quality service, and live up to the expect of the Dept.
